Refund policy

Cancellation, withdrawal and returns

This policy applies to home and kitchen products purchased as a consumer through rimbadeco.com. Your rights under Turkish Law No. 6502 and the Regulation on Distance Contracts are reserved.

1. Order cancellation and withdrawal notice

You may exercise your right of withdrawal before delivery. Send a clear written statement of your decision to cancel or withdraw to rimbadeco@gmail.com. Including your order number and the relevant product helps us process your request. You do not need to give a reason or wait for our approval. If the order has been dispatched, the return process below applies.

2. Withdrawal period

You may withdraw within 14 days of receiving the product, without giving a reason or paying a penalty. If one order arrives in separate shipments, the period begins when the last product is delivered. Sending your notice before the deadline is sufficient. Where proper withdrawal information has not been provided, the extended periods specified by applicable legislation apply.

3. Free returns and return shipping code

1. Notify us in writing at rimbadeco@gmail.com within 14 days of delivery. Include your order number and the product you wish to return.
2. After receiving your notice, we email you the return shipping code, carrier and shipping instructions.
3. Pack the product safely with its accessories and hand it to the specified carrier free of charge using the return code. Keep the shipping receipt and tracking number.

The shipping code facilitates dispatch; your right of withdrawal does not depend on company approval or receiving a code. Contact us again if the code is delayed; this does not remove your statutory rights. If no return carrier was specified in the pre-contractual information, the cost of returning the product with any carrier is not charged to the consumer. If the specified carrier has no branch where you are located, we arrange collection at no additional cost.

4. Product condition and damage from use

Pack the product with all supplied parts and accessories so that it is protected during transit. Use its box and protective pouch if available and include your order number.

Opening the packaging, inspecting the product or using it in accordance with its instructions is not, by itself, grounds for refusing a return. Consumers are not held responsible for changes or deterioration resulting from use consistent with the product’s operation, technical characteristics and instructions. Staining, breakage, cracking, detached parts or accessories, or similar damage caused by use contrary to instructions is assessed according to the circumstances and applicable legislation; no deduction or cost that cannot lawfully be imposed on the consumer will be applied. Your rights regarding defective goods remain reserved.

5. Refunds

For withdrawal before delivery, reimbursement is made no later than 14 days after we receive your notice. For returns after delivery, the 14-day period begins when you hand the product to the carrier specified in the pre-contractual information, or, if you use another carrier, when we receive it. If no return carrier was specified, RIMBA DECO starts the refund period on the date you dispatch the product. Payments covered by withdrawal, including collected delivery charges, are refunded in one payment, without fees, using the payment method used for the purchase. You are not required to accept a gift voucher.

6. Personalised and discounted products

A discount or handmade production does not remove the right to withdraw from purchasing a standard product. Only products prepared to your special requests or personal needs may fall under the statutory personalisation exception, which must be clearly disclosed before ordering. Rights relating to defective goods are unaffected.

7. Defective, damaged or incorrect products

If there is a problem, contact us with your order details and, if possible, photographs. Photographs or a carrier damage report are not mandatory conditions for exercising your statutory rights. Subject to the legal conditions for defective goods, you may request a refund, price reduction, free repair or replacement with a defect-free equivalent; necessary costs are not imposed on the consumer. These rights are not limited to the 14-day withdrawal period.

8. Support and complaints

Contact: rimbadeco@gmail.com. In disputes, you may apply to consumer arbitration committees according to the applicable monetary thresholds, or to consumer courts after any legally required mediation process.
